Just do it!

After spending the last two springs doing some gardening for the local environmental association - volunteering a few mornings a week at the local communal garden - in 2024 we decided to take a break. In March we moved into a house with a larger balcony that has much better sun exposure, so we decided to just do some container gardening, and the results are quite good!

We are doing lots of things rather randomly, and are not following the recommendations to the letter - for example, all of the containers we are using are smaller than the recommended sizes we found online, and we often had to put two plants of the same kind in the same container.
They say that your first garden is your worst garden, and this is probably the case for us - however, the most important thing for us this year was to ‘just do it’, rather than being stressed by having to meet all the necessary criteria while navigating a ton of other difficult stuff
