Going to work is better if you have gone hiking before

Just last week I wrote how we had left Thursdays free from work until 4PM so that we could go on ‘workday adventures’ - but that we hadn’t done one yet.
This past Thursday we went on our first workday hike (and hike n° 42 of 2024), and we had a great time. We chose a great trail, the weather was good and, since it was slightly windy, the views were phenomenal - allowing us to see the Plain, Lecco Lake and the many mountains around us.
