Digital nomads
It is on days like today that I would like to be a digital nomad, to continue enjoying this streak of clear, sunny weather we are having...but instead we had to come back to go to work in our physical locations.
Not that being a digital nomad isn't without its disadvantages - I am a rapport teacher and really, really like building relationships with the people I train over years, and this is not something you can do to the same extent online. I also wouldn't want to be able to work anywhere in the world if I wasn't making my own schedule - eg. only working 4-6 hours a day and not working during the summer months - to me the amount of free time available trumps being able to work from anywhere in the world.
So, realistically, the goal for the near future is to get to the point where I have to work fewer days a week from a fixed location - but still doing it, for the financial stability it provides in my specific case and for the enjoyment I get from teaching face to face - so that I can have more than the 2 days of a regular weekend to enjoy life
