Workday ride

Last Thursday, on a cloudy morning, we went on our first proper cycling adventure in a long time. We started from home and headed to Crespi d’Adda, a UNESCO site just a half hour drive from where we live. With the bikes, trying to avoid the roads and stick to paths in small patches of woodland, it’s more like a 2 hour ride. We cycled through the town, reached the iconic mausoleum and then came back coasting the river.
I had missed cycling adventures, and going to work later that day felt much better than usual.
