Time for some gardening

We moved into this house exactly 1 year and 1 day ago, and with the move came the possibility to do some actual gardening, rather than having to stick to container gardening like when we were in an apartment.
So one thing we did last year was to remove an ornamental shrub and replace it with a nashi and a redcurrant - see below.

This year we are going to make some more changes, as we are removing two big ornamental trees and replacing them with a micro food forest - by putting a few dwarf fruit trees and citrus trees, various berries plants and some edibles as ground cover.
Urban orchards are fucking cool!
